Welcome to the RICHMOND YACHT CLUB. When a small group of sailors formed RYC in 1932, they created a club that soon became known as the sailing-est club on the bay. We proudly follow their volunteer tradition and the motto "THIS CLUB WAS BUILT FOR FUN".
Throughout the year we host regattas for keelboats and dinghy’s ranging from fun to world championship events. We are proud of our outstanding youth sailing programs, our racers who bring home trophies and our cruisers who keep our burgee flying in the bay and beyond. Located in the pleasant weather zone in the lee of Angel Island, we and our small dedicated staff welcome you.
